Old Tree: The old tree is taller than the new tree. The old tree had roots underground.

New Tree: The new  tree is smaller than the old tree. The new tree didn't have any root underground.

4. What was the author’s secret message in this story? The secret message was be patient.

5. What did you learn from this story? I learnt that when you are a tree you have to be patient and grow your roots.
