Multiplication pyramid

5 x 15 =75
5 x 10 = 50
5 x 5 = 25
50 + 25 = 75

15 x 12 = 180
12 x 10 = 120
12 x 5 = 60
120 + 60 = 180

12 x 4 = 48
10 x 4 = 40
2 x 4 = 8
40 + 8 = 48

75 x 180 =
70 x 100 = 7000
70 x 80 = 5600
5 x 100 = 500
5 x 80 = 400
7000 + 5600 = 12600
500 + 400 = 900
12600 + 900 = 13500

180 x 48 =
40 x 100 = 4000
40 x 80 = 3200
8 x 100 = 800
8 x 80 = 640
4000 + 3200 = 7200
800 + 640 = 1440
7200 + 1440 = 8640

13500 x 8640 =
8640 x 10000 = 86400000
8640 x 3000 =25920000
8640 x 500 = 4320000
86400000 + 25920000 + 4320000 = 116640000

Transformation

There is a app on the slides that can or will help you with Rotate,Reflect, and translate.

Translate

Question - The rectangle slides to a new position.
Which of the following could be the new position of the rectangle?

This had to be the easiest because you had to slide the shape along and the other options were turned or something else

Question - The L-shape is translated at an angle of 60° and a distance of 4 units, then translated again at an angle of -10° and a distance of -3 units
Which one of the following shows the correct image?

This was the hard one because I didn't know what was going on and I just didn't get what was happening

Rotation

This was the Question - The square is rotated one complete turn about the point O.
Which of the following shows the new position of the square?

This was the easy Rotation I did because all you did was a full turn, you just had to leave it there because it was a full turn 180 degrees

This is my answer and it was wrong

The Question - Rectangle A′B′C′D′ is the image of rectangle ABCD after which of the following rotations?

This one was hard and confusing because I didn't know what to do .

Reflection

This was the easy one because all you had to do is put the square on the other side of the line then your done/EASY

Inferring

WALT -  make inferences (find hidden meaning in a text)
SUCCESS CRITERIA: I know I can do this when
- I can use evidence in the text to support my inference
- I can use prior knowledge to support my inference

I learnt that you need to know what is happening in the story before you start inferring. In a story you write whats happening so you can find the information and you can find things that the author didn't write.

For this presentation we had to answer some quetions from the book. We also had to choose 5 words that we dont know and put that word into a

WALT -  Identify features of a non-fiction text

SUCCESS CRITERIA: I know I can do this when
- I can locate information in the article using subheadings
- I can explain how paragraphs help the reader
- I can name three types of visual images used in non-fiction texts

we learnt about space and what is going to happen in the futher. You can see that there is a diagram of the moon changes.
