Similes are a figure of speech. They are sentences that compare one object or idea to another. For example: Quick like lightning.

We are learning to read and understand new words.

I learnt that ladybirds eat aphids and ladybirds eat 1000 of  aphids a day. I also learnt  another word for a little baby ladybird and that word is larvae. I also learnt that larvae eats 30 aphids a day.

WALT: Read with fluency

This play is about Robots having a war. First mum said if Carl and  Tina wanted to go to the Fun Sports Program at at the community Center. Tina makes some popcorn and Robbie needs to clean the oven and QT174 said cake baking irst oven cleaning second Robbie said I'm the oldest then QT174 said i'm the newest model. Then they started the robot war and Tina and Carl went outside and played kicks with the ball for a while the robot are having a war.

The chocolate game

My reading class did a chocolate game. We did the chocolate game at school and I didn't get a turn. But it doesn't matter because  my friend Myztique did.

Today our class had a game called The Chocolate Game. This is how you play. So first you have to get a dice and roll it and if you roll 6 then you have to put on 5 pieces of accessories and 1 pice of clothing out of a jacket or a t shirt. If you roll  2,3,4,5  then you don't put on anything you just give the dice to the next person. turn real life I always say in my head I hope I don't get a six.

The chocolate game is a fun game to play. Once we started the game I was nervous because I thought I would go up and have to dress up but I didn’t. Once It's my turn to roll the dice I always say in my head I hope I don't get a six. As the dice was coming my way, I “would” always say in my head “not a six”. When I have the dice right in my hand I always try and get a 5,4,3,2, or a 1 because if I didn't want every-body to be looking at me.

As I was sitting down, I felt bored because I had nothing to do. When Martin got up and wore the coconut shell bra, I was laughing so hard. It was so funny  watching people putting on the clothing.

I didn't really mind not rolling a 6 because everyone would be looking at me. Two people got to eat a piece of chocolate,Dezare and Montel. Revival cut the chocolate for him Montel didn't even cut the chocolate he just grabbed it and shoved it in his mouth.  

I didn't like the chocolate game. Maybe I will roll a six next we play the game.

In Nepal

Build your sentences into a paragraph

In Nepal there was an earthquake. It happened on the 25th April 2015 . Lots of people were panicking and some people were trapped. Lots of houses and buildings were  ruined too. Some cars were crushed and people displaced so they had to sleep on the streets.

Some people in Nepal all maybe everybody in Nepal is sick. Rubbish could be all over the place with lots of dirt and dust. Most of the people are frightened scared and afraid because there might be a bigger aftershock. Hopefully there safe and sound now and that they got rescued and got lots of help. People could be lonely in Nepal and they must be shaking and they must be worried because they want their family.  

In the Weekend

On the long weekend I went to lunch with my cousins and aunts and uncles we got there at lunch time. We had lunch at hansan and hansan is a restaurant and as we arrived some of my cousins were there then we played tigy in side near the table then sundully my baby cousins arrived in hansan we had to order our food. We went there just to have fun with our family and we got there in a car.      

All we did there was still playing tigey inside hansan then our food was ready I got karbarb sticks then we got our drinks. Then when we finished eating we played tigey again then our parents had to pay for the food and there was some circle hot things and they are really hot. My mum went to pay for the the food we all waited outside and my aunts payed for their food as well.

At hansun I felt happy with my family. Next long weekend I would want to go too Waiwera Hot Pools again. I want to go too Waiwera because the slides there is really fun and the yellow slide is my favorite cause when you go on it and go down it is really fast but not that fast  water slide and there is other slides too like the little kids one.

Bike track

In the bike track there is a bike with a person on it riding across. Riding the though some trees and some bushes. There just having fun on there bikes.

Nepal Earthquake

There was a powerful earthquake that struck the country. The

nepalensis were expecting a bigger aftershock. Thousands of people were missing that needed to be rescued.People were searching through rubble. There was an outbreak of disease.
