Thank you Ben for playing soccer with us we had a wonderful time with you Ben. And thank you Ben for making us laugh and and for showing us lots of skills with you Ben. And I had so much fun playing soccer and doing games too.

Artwork

I didn’t paint because I was making puppet shadow next to the projector with our hands. We were playing and letting Daisy put her photos onto her ipad. And we were talking together  and I was walking around classroom and doing nothing. I didn’t paint because I couldn’t manage myself.

I liked Maypos because her chair looks like a real chair and because I like her plant and some of her lines are great. And when she drew her triangle perfect. And I like her sky because light blue is my favorite color and because thats the normal color in the sky light blue

Mitre Peak

Mitre peak is in fjord island in the south of the north island. People go there to see the mountains and enjoy their beautiful life. They also go their to climb up the mountains.                                             

My Year Reflection 2014

What did I enjoy? I enjoyed having a chromebook for my self because last year my class didn’t have any chromebooks. And it was boring writing on paper because you keep on crossing mistakes out and when you do a mistakes on a chromebook you just need to delete it.

What did I not enjoy? I didn’t enjoy when the internet was slow

What new things have I learnt?I have learnt how to use scratch

How do I feel about my year in 2014? In the beginning of the year I was nervous

What was the most interesting thing we did?The most interesting thing was making movies because you can record when the movies play

How can I learn better in 2015?I can do some more writing without talking to my friends

Abel Tasman

At abel tasman beach has some dolphins that live in the abel tasman beach. At abel tasman beach is a nice place to visit because the water is very nice to see. And at abel tasman you can see the end of the rainbow.

Wellington

At Wellington it is very windy and when it rains it goes sideways. And at Wellington there is lots of hills there. At Wellington there are also trams in Wellington.

Cape Reinga

At Cape Reinga people can see the tasman sea and  the pacific ocean. And at Cape Reinga there is a lighthouse at Cape Reinga. People can see the the tasman sea and the pacific ocean comes together and they clash.

What Teachers Do

I am going to explain to you what a teacher does all day.
Teachers. drink coffee while they have a meeting. When they finished there coffee they will get a another one and each day they get little fat.  Teachers help kids learn and does work with kids and they play sport outside with the class.


Teachers teach so when the kids grow up the can lenrn and think and when they lenrn they can have better things.

Sarah C was the best artist in Mangawhai heads. She Drew her art work on corrugated iron she had Limited editions. Very soon her piece of artwork got sold out because people demanded her art work. people can hang her artwork on the fence or in the garden outside.   

Superhero Reflection

We have been learning to be creative, use our key competencies, work hard to overcome challenges and help others to be able to share our best. We have written a story and made a MTV to demonstrate this learning. This is a reflection all about my cool learning. I am Amazing!

My favourite movie was Javan & Justus.

The reason why that movie was so good was because they were creative because the camera guy was recording Justus by his shadow.

The best part of my movie was because I & Maypo were doing funny dancing because we were doing anything when we were dancing.

The best thing about my group was that we were listening to each other in our group.

My movie could have been better if I could be more creative & have more new ideas & I don’t want to copy anyones new ideas because I want to be the most creative.

Key Competencies:

I demonstrated self management by listening to other people in my group so we could have the best movie in our class.

I demonstrated thinking when I help people in my group when they need help.

I demonstrated participation by joining with my group more.

I demonstrated relating to others when I help other group members.

My movie was creative and exciting because our movie had different pictures and different videos and because we wasn’t using the pictures and videos lots of times so it won't be boring.

Taking off the Rocket was blasting in the air Gravity was pulling the Earth down.Steve the Chicken was not afraid to blast in the air on the L&P drink with a setbult on him.When Emily pulled the cloth off the table really speady she was a little nervoiuse on the stage.

Coyote

When the coyote bungy jump gravity pulled him down.

Sudully the coyote span around and hits lots of heavy trucks with tanks.

A hot air balloon

When a hot air balloon goes to land they pull the red rope to open the parachute so the hot air can come in of the hot air balloon. and so cold air can come in so the people in the hot air

balloon so the people in the basket can come down slowly down on the middle of the road.

For the hot air balloon  to go up fill the hot air balloon with hot air so the hot air balloon can go up in the sky.And the hot air goes up and the cold air goes down then the hot air is less dense than the cold air, so it rises.

Angry Birds

Angry Birds is a game.That helps us learn about.Physicals and isaac newton.

Potential Energy is when you pull back the rubber band.

And when we release the bird it goes flying.

In the air and Gravity pulls it down.And Action is when you  let go of the rubber band the bird goes flying and reaction hits the pigs.

Angry birds is a great game. beucase when you pull back the rubber band.When you let  go of the rubber band.The bird will fly and hit the wood and then the wood will hit the pigs and the pigs will die.

Rubberband Experiment

Purpose:We were trying to make the Rocket move.

Materials:We need a Rocket a Rubberband and a handal.

Method:We had to put the Rubberband onto the handal and put the Rubberband onto the Rocket and then we will pull the Rocket and hold the handal then let the Rocket go.

Observations:For the first time we were learning how to fly a Rubberband Rocket.

Conclusion:We were trying to explane how to a Rubberband Rocket.

In the holidays

Today we had our first All Star Warriors Session with Mrs Nua.

We had to write 3 super sentences  so that she could see how fabulous we are at writing.

In the holidays I had a trip to rarotonga and when we got there we had to walk down the steps.When we got out of the rarotonga airport and when we got out of the airport my family was outside.Then we went in the truck and when it was my birthday we went to the Biggest slide in rarotonga i think.

Fiafia night

Walking onto the stage we shook our hips. I felt so excited when I got on the stage. We had to smile at everybody the whole time and when we turned around we needed to sing our line. When the drummers stopped, a girl and a boy started to dance, so the drummers started again. They were the coaches son and daughter. After we finished we went down off the stage and sat down on the ground. We sat down and talked and watched the last performance. At the end I saw Tom, Nate and Justus in their movie. Fiafia was finished, we went to get changed.

We have been learning all about independent and dependent clauses in complex sentences.

This complex sentence that I have written uses a dependent and independent clause. A dependent clause, needs extra detail so that it can complete the sentence, whereas an independent sentence could actually make a sentence on its own.

Here is my sentence:

I have highlighted the dependent clause yellow and the independent clause red.

Class 12 was happy as they kicked their feet in the water.

Cyclone lusi

Howling wind smashing through trees.All over New Zealand pouring down rain and the rumbling clouds with Rattling? the windows.Surging waves flooding with capped waves and looking for a shelter.The wind is 120km/h and the wind is faster then a car the dark and gloomy wild weather and the rain went for ever.

Pouring a big can of a green drink into Sophie’s mouth,  soon she felt the fizzing bubbles in her tummy. Flying high, Sophie and the BFG sang a song as they flipped over and over. “Isn’t that rude?” Said Sophie as noises came out of her bottom.

Hats

I want to explain why we have hats.

What is a hat? What do we use it for?

We use the hat to give some shad and to be cool and we could were a beny to keep your head warm in winter.

Why is it important that we wear hats when outdoors?

There are several reasons for this.

So you can’t get sun burn.  

The main reason is

because we need to protect our skin from getting sunburn or even skin cances.

Another reason is

that a hat gives us shad and keep the sun out of our eyes.

A further reason is

that a hat can protect us from the rain and keep us dry.

So now you can see why

Temperature Question

This morning the temperature was 12 degrees celsius . By 12pm it had increased by 7 degrees so it is now 19 degrees celsius.By  6pm the temperature then dropped by 5 degrees to be 14 degrees celsius .now at 8pm it has dropped 3 more degrees so the new temperature is 11 degrees celsius.12+7-5-3=11

Maths Problem

There are one happy face and one sad face will make 10c.
There is too happy faces and too sad face's will make 20c.
There are three happy face's and three sad faces if you have too happy faces and too sad faces and one sad face and one happy face will make 30c

Hi my name is Angels and i go to pt england school.And we lean lot’s at school and then Mr Burt came with the chromebook’s and then he talk’s to us about the chrombook’s like not putting it near the window for some one well get it and not to hold it like a butterfly because some  one might bop you and then you could group it.And Mr Burt tell’s lot’s and lot’s of stuth about chromebook’s and then he told us about that man at the airport with his laptop and when Mr Burt finish telling us the story all of the year four’s could go on the chromebook’s and all the other’s went out side playing some game’s and then the year 4’s could go on blooger an go and  look at some vido’s and then when they all came back from out side frome playing games out side.And then all the year 4’s had to turn it off.
